Every week on Friday, NPR has Storycorps on, and every week it makes me cry.

Storycorps is a project where a traveling recording booth goes around the country and people get a chance to interview their loved ones. The best stories are picked to be on the radio, and they are such touching and lovely stuff.

Today they replayed a story from December 2005 by a woman, Mary Caplan, whose brother Tom had died of AIDS back in the early days of the disease.

They also had her talking about the story and how that one hug had changed her life. Kelly is right – we make a difference with the little things we do.
