It seems like Meredith (my four year old) is very much in tune with my mood and knows exactly when I need some cheering. Today was definitely one of those days, and she delivered in fine fashion.

Me: Meredith, did you have a good day at school today?

Meredith: Yes.

Me: Did you go outside, or was it too cold?

Meredith: Actually, we went outside naked. Miss Debbie told us that it was too cold to wear clothes outside.

Me: So you went out naked?!

Meredith: Yes. And when we got back to the classroom, she made me take a shower in front of my friends. And since there was no shower, I had to take a shower in the toilet. And my foot got sucked in when I flushed, so I spent the rest of the day in the bathroom with my foot in the toilet.

I love watching her sense of humor develop. Even during the “Toilets = Hilarity” stage.
