Spires

This little church in Palm Desert is odd but I kind of love it. The spires have segments of colored glass stuck in all the way up and when the light hits it just right, it’s looks pretty glorious.
I’m not a very religious person, having grown up in a very strict and religious environment, but I do appreciate someone’s effort in making something beautiful and a place to worship.

You’re right. Any attempt at making something beautiful can and should be appreciated, even if you don’t agree with all the underlying dogma.
