Today I’m going to work hard. And relax the heck out of my relaxing time. In fact, I’m going try and do everything today with an eye to a singular purpose. One thing at a time. Just one. Then later, one more.
It might be easier some days if I had my own marquee telling people what kind of mood I was in, what time I would be open for putting on a show. Wednesday, 7pm. This week only at the Rio.
Jen Lemen is absolutely one of the most authentic people I know. She opens her heart to everyone but also knows how to set limits so she doesn’t get so weighed down she can’t function. She takes breaks when she needs to. She creates ways to bless other people’s lives. I admire her so much.
I hope your weekend is going great and is filled with lots of family, friends and fun. Or alone time. Whatever you want and need. I, myself, am having a dirty martini, watching some dvr’d television and sketching in my walkabout journal. xoxo
